Get Involved on Campus
Whether you are new to recruiting at City or have a strong history of hiring our students and graduates, many of them will be learning about your organisation for the very first time. However, there are a number of ways to make our students more aware of the opportunities your organisation has to offer and why they should consider you.
Career Events
The Career and Skills Development Service organises a number of events to give you the opportunity to promote your company to students and to help you raise your profile on campus.
Employer & careers events are popular among our students and get very good attendance rates. Our Employer Relations Team are always available to discuss your recruitment needs and requirements and advise you on the most appropriate type event that will help you reach your desired target audience.
Please find below some of the different types of careers events that we could help you organise. We are always happy to discuss any new ideas that you might have and provide you with professional advice on how to best create an event within your specific requirements and company profile.
Events include:
- All of our Fairs
- Our Industry Insight Panels
- Our Employability Skills Programme
- Employer in Residence sessions - Mock Interviews and cv/application Checks
- Lunch-time and evening presentations on-campus
- Lunch-time stalls
