If you have been formally identified with dyslexia or another Specific Learning Differences (SpLD), please contact us to register as early as possible. Support is available to all students, regardless of fee status (Home / EU / International) or course level (UG / PG / PhD).
Please email your evidence (e.g. your diagnostic assessment report) to email@example.com or visit us at the Learning Success reception desk and we will be happy to help.
The Neurodiversity Support team offers individualised, one-to-one support sessions with specialist tutors to help you develop compensatory strategies and relevant study skills. These could include areas such as revision and memory techniques, organisational and time management strategies, and academic writing skills.
We additionally offer:
- Liaison with academic, administrative and library staff around “reasonable adjustments”
- Advice on Disabled Students' Allowances (DSAs) and other available funding
Students who are eligible for exam arrangements because of an SpLD, disability or on-going medical condition, should contact Learning Success as early as possible to register with one of our teams in advance of the deadlines. You will need to provide the appropriate diagnostic report or medical evidence.
