Neurodiversity Support

If you have been formally identified with dyslexia or another Specific Learning Differences (SpLD), please contact us to register as early as possible. Support is available to all students, regardless of fee status (Home / EU / International) or course level (UG / PG / PhD).

Please email your evidence (e.g. your diagnostic assessment report) to or visit us at the Learning Success reception desk and we will be happy to help.

The Neurodiversity Support team offers individualised, one-to-one support sessions with specialist tutors to help you develop compensatory strategies and relevant study skills. These could include areas such as revision and memory techniques, organisational and time management strategies, and academic writing skills.

We additionally offer:

Exam arrangements

Students who are eligible for exam arrangements because of an SpLD, disability or on-going medical condition, should contact Learning Success as early as possible to register with one of our teams in advance of the deadlines. You will need to provide the appropriate diagnostic report or medical evidence.

Students without a formal identification of an SpLD

We also offer SpLD screenings for students who believe they may have a specific learning difference. This can lead to a full diagnostic assessment if we feel there are positive indicators.
