Sport at City

We encourage students to be active and healthy, and to get involved with sport while studying at City, University of London. As a City student, you can join classes, team sports and wellbeing programmes. Our Sports and Leisure Service offers advice and encouragement to help you achieve your health, fitness and sporting goals.

City's bid to introduce a pan-institute intramural sports programme, CityActive, received over £116,000 in funding from Sport England, enabling more City students to participate in sport. CityActive is designed to promote "participation through sport" to help develop friendships between fellow students within your own and other halls of residence and departments. This year the programme includes football, basketball and badminton. Anyone can join in, no matter what your level or experience.
