Music
The Department of Music at City provides an opportunity to study music in a friendly and informal atmosphere and offers access to excellent facilities. There are two types of courses available for study abroad students, courses for non-specialists, and courses for students who are music majors/minors
The following courses are expected to be offered for Study Abroad students in 2019/20:

Students would take two music ensembles, the list of possible ensembles changes every year but we expect the following to be available in 2019/20:
- Chamber Choir
- Jazz and Improvisation Ensemble
- African Dance and Drumming
- Experimental Ensemble
- Civitas (choir)
- Field Recording
- Balkan
- Javanese Gamelan
- Balianese Gamelan
- Chamber Orchestra (restricted to students who are available for January and May assessments)
