It is important to activate your account in order to use all the services available to City students. In order to activate your account please read all the information in this page and click the Activate button below. You will need:
- Your student number
- Your date of birth
You have received your student number in the email sent by us confirming your enrolment on the course.
If you mistyped the student number or the date of birth then an error message will appear: “Wrong values for date of birth or Student Number. Please check your details and try again”. Please double check the student number you entered and make sure that the date of birth was written in the format dd/mm/yyyy. If the error persists then there is a possibility that there was some problem with the enrolment. Please contact the short courses team.
If the activation was successful, you will see a screen your username and email, which you should keep a copy of. Also you need to remember the password you set.
Your account is now properly activated. You can now access your email or other university services (e.g. eduroam wi-fi, computer labs across university)
Continuing further will give you details that can be safely ignored as they are placeholder names for all short courses. Your activation is successful and your class is scheduled as per the short courses website and the enrolment email you received from us.
