During this module you will learn about the historical and contemporary philosophical and political issues that have influenced the provision and delivery of primary health care in the UK. The structure and delivery of the content of the module will help you to understand the factors and events that have shaped the current provision of primary health care and consider your current and future role in the UK NHS.
This module can be taken as part of the BSc Nursing Studies top up degree. If you wish to complete a top-up degree, please apply directly on the Nursing Studies programme webpage. If you would still like to complete this module as a CPPD student but would like to complete a top-up degree at a later date, please note that you will only be able to transfer a maximum of 30 credits which have been awarded within 5 years prior to the start date of the programme (top-up degree).
