The purpose of this module is to meet the needs of health and social care professionals who are required to promote the development of colleagues and students. The intention of this module is to provide an opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding essential for delivery of high quality professional practice.
This module aims to equip students with the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding required of those who educate and develop others within healthcare or social care settings. Whilst the focus of the module will be learning support and assessment of junior and learner professionals, the knowledge and skills gained will also aid practitioners in their role as educators of service users, clients and carers.
The module aims to provide a rich learning experience through which practitioners will develop and become more reflective on their own practice so that they are able to better facilitate the learning of others and become critically aware role models.
