This module is a 15 credit module at level 6. The module covers all methods of contraception and the most common sexually transmitted infections. The assessment is a 3,000 words assignment and the topic is chosen by the student.
On completion of the course the student will be able to give advice on all methods of contraception and have an understanding of the signs, symptoms and treatment of sexually transmitted infections.
