This introductory session will cover anatomy, normal ultrasound appearances, mesh repair appearances and common pathology seen in the adult groin and abdominal wall. Causes and symptoms for hernia will be discussed. Good technique and potential pitfalls will be described. Phrases for report writing and management of findings will be suggested.

Sonographers wanting to learn more about scanning and reporting hernias and superficial abdominal lumps and bumps.
English language at a level eligible to work in the UK.
This is a lecture based event, where you will be provided with information and shown images / videos. There will be time for questions during the session.
