We have taught Library and Information Science for almost 60 years and our master’s degrees are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP).

Librarians will manage library cataloguing systems and serve library users, while making sure information and resources are easily accessible to students and staff.

Facilities

We work in close connection with our colleagues at City Library, which consist of around 250,000 books with over 25,000 online journal titles and over 1,600 study places available.
Students can book private library spaces for academic work within City Library. They offer excellent support and advice to our students, in addition to contributing to our courses.
At City, there are many programmes such as the professional mentoring scheme, that help and advise our students in their chosen discipline.
As part of the University of London, City students have access to Senate House Library.
