Learn French with support from a central London university. We have a course to suit you – whether you’re looking for beginners classes or already know basic French and want to become more confident quickly.
Taught in the evenings, you can fit our interactive classes around your busy schedule. Our start dates are flexible too – we have part-time French short courses starting in October, January and April/May.

What level is right for you?
We teach French at a range of levels, from beginners onwards. Each level is made up of three parts and covers a range of areas, including basic grammar and everyday vocabulary. How you study is up to you – take one part alone or join us for the full year to save on costs.

Beginners - year 1
Develop a solid grasp of basic French. You’ll explore everyday vocabulary and simple grammatical structures.
Join us here if you have little or no experience of learning French.
Our full syllabus course will help you master the basics of thee French language.

Beyond Beginners - year 2
Perfect and improve your French beginners skills and communicate with greater fluency.
Working towards Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) A1/2 level.

- completed our French Beginners syllabus or a similar course
- a rusty French GCSE
- studied French formally 60-100 hours.

- a good or recent GCSE
- reached CEFR A2 level
- studied French formally for 120-140 hours

- a French A-level
- reached CEFR B1 level French
- studied French formally for 180- 210 hours.
