This scholarship is offered by the Unite Foundation for undergraduate students who are estranged from their families or have experienced care.
The Unite Foundation offers a scholarship to young undergraduate students who are care leavers/care experienced or estranged (first degree course only) of a free student room in accommodation halls for a maximum of 3 years of university life.
No rent, no bills; 365 days a year for up to 3 years of eligible study.
In 2023/24 there are 105 Unite Foundation Scholarships available nationwide for UCAS first year applicants who have made City a firm choice, or those already studying a foundation year during 2022/23.
Eligibility
You are eligible to apply for the scholarship if you meet all of the following conditions:
- You're 25 or under
- You're a statutory care leaver, care experienced (Scotland), or estranged from your family
- You're starting or studying your first undergraduate degree
- You're eligible for UK home fee status.
