The Journalists’ Charity is providing a scholarship for a student studying MA Newspaper Journalism.
The Journalists’ Charity was founded by Charles Dickens in 1864 to help journalists and their dependents going through tough times.
More than a hundred and fifty years later, the organisation remains committed to providing advice and support to individuals working across the industry, at a time when journalism has arguably never been more important to society.
The scholarship will cover full tuition fees for a home student. The successful applicant will also be eligible for a small living costs bursary which will be paid direct by the Charity.
Criteria & eligibility
- Applicants must have received a confirmed offer to study at City on the MA Newspaper Journalism course
- Applicants will need to demonstrate financial need
- Available to students with home fee status.
