Up to three bursaries are expected to be awarded by HCAP on an annual basis exclusively to students who are fully registered on one of the three MSc Aviation Management programmes at City, University of London.
The bursaries are open to all students studying one of the below programmes at City, University of London.
Bursaries are usually offered at £3,000 each (although this is reviewed and confirmed annually) and are intended to assist students who do not have any other source of financial support towards fees.
In addition, there is the potential award of a Certificate of Commendation, available for students who have other sources of financial support towards the fees and, but for this financial support, would have been awarded a bursary.
How to apply
The application consists of:
- CV
- Two short essays (500 words)
- Interview for short-listed candidates
Any changes to the application process will be confirmed by HCAP each year when applications open.
Applications usually open around February each year and close in May. Dates will be confirmed on the Aviation Management Focal Point on Moodle.
Value
Bursaries are expected to be worth £3,000 and will be put towards payment of fees. In addition, there is the potential award of a Certificate of Commendation, available for students who have other sources of financial support towards the fees and, but for this financial support, would have been awarded a bursary.
Notification and Payment
Candidates short-listed for interview will be notified of the outcome as soon as possible after interviews have take place. Payment of the bursary will be made by a reduction in fees. No payment will be made for students who receive a Certificate of Commendation.
