If you are applying for a master's degree in Publishing, International Publishing or Creative Writing and Publishing, you may be eligible to apply for this scholarship, awarded in partnership with Faber & Faber.
City, University of London and Faber & Faber are pleased to announce a scholarship, in memory of the late David Tebbutt, Finance Director of Faber & Faber from 2002 until his untimely death in September 2011.
The scholarship is funded by the David Tebbutt Trust and is administered jointly by Faber & Faber and the Tebbutt family. The goal of the scholarship is to support students seeking to start a career in the publishing industry by furthering their education at City.
Alongside the financial award the scholarship also comes with a placement to work at Faber & Faber in its London offices.
Value and eligibility
The David Tebbutt Scholarship will be awarded to one student annually to cover the full fees for full-time study on one of the following master's programmes at City, University of London:
Applicants to the scholarship must be in receipt of an offer of a place on one of these three programmes. The scholarship is open to UK and EU applicants.

Other information
The name of the award recipient will be shared with the donor.
The recipient will be required to submit a one page report at the end of the academic year which will be sent to the donor.
The recipient may be asked to provide a testimonial on the impact the award has made.
