In part 1, you’ll learn new and more advanced forms of grammar, such as periphrasis, quantifiers and modifiers and be introduced to direct and indirect object pronouns.
You also deepen your understanding of Spanish society and customs, including fiesta celebrations in Spain and Latin America.
You’ll be challenged beyond simply ‘getting by’ in Spanish and learn to speak with more variance and fluency, which may include reciting anecdotes, expressing hypotheses or summarising the plot of a book or movie.
This is the first part of the Spanish intermediate syllabus, working towards CEFR B1 level.
Who is it for?
You should be able to communicate at CEFR A2 level to enrol. You may have completed our full Spanish lower intermediate syllabus (approximately 120 hours of formal learning) or have a good or recent GCSE. Check the eligibility section.
