This ten-week evening training course aims to broaden your database capabilities by including:
- Advanced design
- A comprehensive introduction to T-SQL programming
- A review of SQL Server’s business intelligence capabilities
- Server architecture
- Administration and advanced querying.
Who is it for?
This course is for those who completed the Database Design with SQL Server course or have a good working knowledge of basic database design techniques, SQL querying and basic procedural programming gained using any major RDBMS, looking to take their skills to a higher level.

This course takes place one evening a week for a total of 10 weeks.
City Short Courses follow the academic year, delivering courses over three terms. These include:
- Autumn - October
- Spring - January
- Summer - April
This is a hands-on course that explains the theory but most importantly enables you to discover concepts through examples and cements understanding by doing exercises. You will receive one-to-one support by our expert tutor, with extensive experience teaching database design with SQL.
