My Home Life England Quality Development and Commissioner Support Programme (Online). Course overview
Working in a small confidential group with the same facilitator, this programme combines a mixture of written resources and content brought by participants. With a focus on outcomes based commissioning in a developing integrated system, there is opportunity to learn from others in similar roles in a different location. Providing an opportunity to look forwards as well as focusing on current hot topics, this programme provides practical ideas and approaches to leading change, using evidence informed frameworks focusing on compassionate leadership.
Please note: In order for us to run this course a minimum of six registrations are required. In case of low registration numbers and subsequent cancellation anyone registered will receive a full refund.

Busy leaders working in local authorities and/or NHS who have a remit focused on commissioning and promoting quality in care settings.

This is a five month programme starting in April 2023 and consists of the following five sessions:

What will I learn?
The programme will provide briefing notes and thought pieces on a different topic each week as well as time to learn from and share experiences with participants from around the country. Some content will be defined as we work together but a broad outline for each session will be in place.
Month 1: As well as getting to know each other and agree ways of working together as leaders, this session will have a focus on integration, system leadership and the impact for care homes and other care settings
Month 2: A focus on the new CQC strategy , system leadership and continuous quality development
Month 3: A focus on creative community connections, housing and system leadership
Month 4: A focus on personal and system resilience and system leadership
Month 5: a focus on outcomes and system leadership
(note these sessions may change focus at the request of participants)
Assessment and certificates
No assessment. You will receive a certificate of learning from City, University of London’s My Home Life England Programme
