Airline Strategy and Business Development Course overview
Airline Strategy and Business Planning has been designed to present and discuss two essential elements for the successful development of any airline: a solid strategy and a robust business plan. Plenty of airlines have failed in the past, for various reasons, so learning these lessons will help better prepare for the future.
Not having one or both of the above elements can certainly explain these failures. It is, though, not as easy to set up a winning proposition for a new enterprise. Planning an airline’s business is complex - it is highly cash intensive, competition is always relentless, and the resulting profitability is mostly razor-thin.
This core module of the MSc Air Transport Management provides a blend of all theoretical concepts and definitions around Strategy and Business Planning with hands on examples coming directly from the airline industry. You will be invited to share knowledge and engage in various interactive moments that will create a true sharing environment among all participants, which has proven to be the best way to assimilate all concepts.
