I have come to realise the importance of cyber security as well as the various techniques required to make the internet a safer place.

Why did you choose to study at City, University of London?

City, University of London is a well-known university with notable alumni. It was an obvious choice. Situated in London, with access to many reputable professors, City allowed for the perfect environment to learn, understand and integrate what we learnt from the book materials.

What do you enjoy most about your course?

The MSc in Cyber Security is a unique course. With the developments in technology, there is a requirement to acquire the knowledge that this course offers. Although I just completed a semester, I already feel that I'm on the right track. This course keeps me updated with the latest in technology and the measures used to stop the cyber crimes taking place around the world.

What has been your favourite module and why?

My favourite module was Digital Forensic. This subject pushed my thinking capacity to its edges allowing me to look into things from a different perspective - in simple words, it makes us detectives and super cops in the digital world.

What has been a highlight of your course so far?

A highlight for me was the day I realised the importance of cyber security and how the IT industry requires various techniques in making the internet a safer place. This course has helped me fulfill those requirements with both practical and theoretical knowledge.

What do you plan to do after you graduate?

As of today I plan to work and pursue MBA as a part-time student.
