Mitesh Chandarana

BSc (Hons)

Mitesh states City University London offers beyond helpful staff, it is very professional and as a university couldn't recommend it more.

Why did you decide to do a placement while at City, University of London?

A foot within the door during university was a massive achievement. There are many companies offering placements but as times were tough (and still are), to obtain a placement would have been seen as a bonus on your CV and something that'll make you stand out from the crowd, come graduation.

Where was your placement and what was your role?

I was placed at the National Health Service (NHS) and my role was that of Project Analyst assisting with key projects around Lewisham Hospital.

What has been the most important thing gained from your placement?

Experience, confidence and professionalism.

What do you plan to do after graduating?

Found a role two days prior to graduation. I would however have loved to travel or perhaps consider a Masters but if a position comes knocking at your door, you don't turn it down.

Anything else about City you would like to add?

Beyond helpful staff, very professional and couldn't recommend it more.
