What were you doing before you came to study at City?

I took a gap year to learn more about Biblical history. This enabled me to gain a real insight into critical analysis and provided me with skills that continue to help me at university today.

Why did you decide to apply to study at City, University of London?

My main drivers were the brilliant location and City’s exceptional reputation. City also provides excellent resources and has a Careers Service which helps students to create a CV and LinkedIn account, when looking for internships and jobs.

My favourite thing is the care and effort lecturers take upon themselves to help each student. I also enjoy lectures as they are very interesting, interactive and engaging.

What kind of things are you involved in outside of your course?

I like to play football and music. As City is very multicultural, I can meet people from different countries and am able to learn about different cultures and religions.
