Graduation date: 2016

What type of volunteering project were you involved in?

Somerset house painting, Pemberton Gardens creating space activities for children.

What did you enjoy most about it?

I enjoyed working in a team and also it's pleasure to create something which will make children happy, improve society.

What skills did you gain through this experience?

Team working, responsibility, painting skills, skills useful for work in garden, also the fact that you should love what you do. For example, I helped to local workers to create space for children, and one of the worker really surprised me, because he showed such a love for what he doing, he is very enthusiastic, he loves children, loves nature, even when we were making holes in the garden, he was trying not to kill worms in earth, instead of this he put them into a new safe place. I should notice that it's important to love the job you do! Because what is the point to do the job that you are not interested in.

Why would you recommend other students take part in Community Volunteering?

It's a great experience, you will gain a lot of useful skills, and also help society.

What do you want to do after university?

I want to work in a "Big 4": Ernst&Young, KPMG, PwC, Deloitte
