Antony was offered a permanent role as a PHP Developer at DataTherapy, which he has accepted.

Why did you decide to do a placement while at City, University of London?

I wanted to gain industry experience that would be invaluable when I graduated. I also wanted to have a job so I could earn money!

Where was your placement and what was your role?

My placement was at DataTherapy and my main role was PHP Development, but I also provided IT Support to clients. After my first year, I was placed solely in PHP Development where my role was to continue building and improving the platform which powers many client systems.

What has been the most important thing gained from your placement?

I gained a lot of technical skills which have helped me grow as a developer. I have also grown as an professional from a student to a full-time professional that is fully integrated with the business. 

What do you plan to do after you graduate?

DataTherapy have offered me a permanent job as a PHP Developer which I have accepted.
