The relationship between the students and the lecturers is definitely very special here at City, University of London. The teaching staff is very passionate about their work, the lecturers are not just transferring their knowledge to us, they are actually giving us an insight into what we may be expected to deal with after graduating in real industry.
I really enjoy the fact that my course equips us with a very good mix of practical and theoretical knowledge, offering us the opportunity to work both as part of a team and on our own initiative.
The flight test course was definitely one of the highlights of the second year of my degree, as we were introduced to the physical characteristics of an aircraft and to some of the aspects of aircraft operations. We had the chance to experience hands-on gliding manoeuvres and get acquainted with in-flight data measurement.

I would like to pursue a career in the operational side of the air transport industry.
