Afolashakin Ajayi

Afolashakin plans to use skills gained at City to start his own IT Consultancy firm.

Why did you choose to study at City, University of London?

I chose to study at City because of its reputation, the quality of the course and City's strong links with major players in the IT industry.

What do you enjoy most about your course?

I have enjoyed the practical nature of the course as well as the support provided by the professors and tutors.

What has been your favourite module and why?

My favourite module so far would have to be Practices and Theories in Interaction Design. I found it enjoyable as it was very practical and interacting with real-life participants was a mandatory requirement of the module.

What has been a highlight of your course so far?

The highlight of my course so far is the diversity of the classes and having the chance to collaborate with other international students. This is helpful as it will prepare me to collaborate effectively in any diverse work environment I find myself in.

What do you plan to do after you graduate?

I plan on going back to my home country and starting my own IT consultancy firm.
