Internationalisation Development Manager

I started my career as an Immigration Consultant in a Law Firm. I then joined the University of Exeter as an International Student Adviser providing specialised immigration and welfare advice to international students and staff. In 2012, I joined City as an International Student Adviser. I’ve joined the International Partnership and Development Office as an Internationalisation Development Manager since May 2017.

My main objective is to develop City’s Internationalisation Strategy by looking at Internationalisation at Home. This includes delivering a range of opportunities through which members of City’s community can gain and share global perspectives, for example International City Week event and Global Talk Series. I’m also looking at how to provide City Staff with the knowledge and means to develop and apply global dimensions in their work, for example International Staff Forum. I’m also identifying pilot initiative to ensure international students making a successfully transition to City and engage with and contribute to City’s global outlook.
