Gemma’s role as the Head of Careers involves setting strategic direction in relation to employability initiatives across City, University of London and providing leadership to the City Careers Service. Prior to joining City Gemma was a Head of Careers at the University of London, specifically managing the careers services at various small and specialist universities.

Prior to becoming a Careers Service manager Gemma worked in diverse higher education careers services, firstly in placements and subsequently as a Careers Consultant. Her educational background is Occupational Psychology including psychometric testing qualifications and she has completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Careers Education, Information and Guidance in Higher Education.
