About

Overview

Tim was called to the Bar in 1987 and completed a common law pupillage the following year. In 1989, he was taken on as a tenant and continues to practice at the Bar. In 1997, he became a member of 1 Crown Office Row Chambers, practicing exclusively in their Brighton Annexe. Tim remains a member of 1 COR.
In 1992, Tim gained his Master of Philosophy of Law at Exeter University in European Union Environmental Law.
During Tim's time at the Bar, he has undertaken all types of law. However, most recently, he has practiced as a family lawyer, specialising predominately in child protection.
Tim is an experienced family mediator and recently qualified as an Arbitrator under the Children Scheme.
In 1999, Tim assisted in delivering the Bar Council's Human Rights Course for practitioners and also qualified as a trainer on the Middle Temple training programme for pupils and junior tenants. He has been a pupil supervisor and has supervised many pupils during his career at the Bar.
Tim is married and has two grown up children. When he is not working, he is an advanced motor cycle instructor for ROSPA and keen skier.
