About

Overview

Richard Goodey graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University. He undertook his doctoral research at the same institution in the area of bulk solids handling, gaining a PhD in 2002. Following a one year post-doctoral appointment in the field of numerical modelling at Brunel University he moved to City University London on an EPSRC funded project on deep basement construction. Following this he spent time working for a specialist geotechnical consultancy, returning to City University London as a lecturer in 2007.
