About
Overview
Rachel joined City Law School in October 2018 as a Senior Lecturer and is the Module Leader for Business Law and Practice (BLP) and Employment Law on the Legal Practice Course (LPC). Since September 2020, Rachel has been the Programme Director of the LPC.
Rachel qualified as a solicitor at Simmons & Simmons in the Employment Law department. She became a Lecturer at BPP University in 2005, teaching and assessing a range of modules. She also held the role of Programme Leader at BPP University for a number of different LPC programmes, including the September LPC and the Fast-Track LPC. Since joining City University, she has written a new Employment Law module and is Module Leader for both BLP and Employment Law.
Rachel is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and an External Examiner at Birmingham City University and Anglia Ruskin University.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys singing in the London Concert Chorus and has performed with them in a variety of venues, including the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal Festival Hall. Rachel also loves to travel, with a particular passion for India, and is currently learning Hindi.
