Dr. G Singh obtained his PhD from the Queen Mary University of London, UK in the area of Turbomachinery Aerodynamics and B.Eng. (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from BITS-Pilani, India. He is working as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate within the Centre for Compressor Technology at the City University of London while employing various numerical and experimental techniques to identify flow mechanisms in positive displacement machines. Prior to joining City, he worked on turbofan engine development projects at IIT-Bombay, steam turbine research at GE Power and Alstom Power while solving the aerothermal aspects of turbomachinery.
