About

Overview

Alison is a lecturer in child health and an advanced paediatric nurse practitioner who joined City University London in 2012. She previously worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Alison has considerable experience in paediatric nursing. She has worked across general and acute paediatrics and also in neonatal and paediatric intensive care. Alison previously run a nurse led clinic for children with urinary tract disorders, and has also occupied senior managerial roles in nursing. As a new academic,  she is currently undertaking the Post Graduate Diploma in Academic Practice.
