Last week, Senior Lecturer in Organisational Psychology and Co-Director of City’s Centre for Excellence in Mindfulness Research (CEMR), Dr Jutta Tobias Mortlock, hosted the webinar for the Open University Psychological Society’s (OUPS) virtual pub social, entitled, 'Mindful stress management: Coming to our (5) senses'.

The session explored what mindfulness is, participants practised different stress antidotes and learned how these can help raise their personal resilience.

Reflecting on the webinar, Dr Tobias Mortlock said:

I’ve contributed to the fabulous OUPS events series before and was thrilled to provide another mindfulness session, focusing on practical ways in which we can all learn how to get “unhooked” from unhelpful thoughts and live our lives with more vitality.

Watch the webinar below and read the summary report on the OUPS website.
