City's Radiography team invited key clinical partners to its 'cheese and wine' event at City to discuss its latest research, courses, partnerships and collaborations, followed by networking over refreshments.

In November 2019, the Division of Midwifery and Radiography,at City, University of London, invited key clinical partners to the University to discuss its latest radiography research, courses, partnerships and collaborations as well as the upcoming Radiography 2020 event, followed by networking over refreshments.

The event also saw the launch of the first Radiography Department Newsletter (Autumn edition), keeping stakeholders abreast of recent developments and key successes of the department and what is upcoming in the department in the near future.

Dr Christina Malamateniou, Postgraduate Programme director (taught and research) for Radiography, reflected:

The cheese and wine event was organised by the Department of Radiography on November 28th 2019 to celebrate and strengthen the links with clinical partners and research collaborators in London and beyond and to present the new developments in teaching and research for the Department. It was very well attended with more than 80 delegates from diagnostic and therapeutic Radiography registering for the event. There were presentations by the Head of Department and Programme Directors. The associate deans of education, postgraduate taught programmes and partnerships were also present as well as our Dean, Professor Debra Salmon.
