Nick Jones wins Graham Turnbull memorial competition

The City Law School Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) student has won the competition, with his essay, 'Has the rule of law been replaced by the rule of politics?'

Nick Jones is the winner of the Law Society’s annual Graham Turnbull Essay Competition.

He is studying on The City Law School's GDL programme.

Graham Turnbull was a solicitor killed in 1997 while working as a human rights monitor on a UN Human Rights mission in Rwanda.

Nick’s winning essay is titled, 'Has the rule of law been replaced by the rule of politics?'

The annual competition coincides with Human Rights Day (December 10th).
