The City Law School’s annual Law Fair took place on 10th October in the Great Hall, featuring 29 exhibitors, three breakout sessions, and a broad range of opportunities in the law and related professions. Over 400 students, from across City’s varied academic and professional law programmes attended the event.

Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner was the Platinum Sponsor, partnered by LPC Law.

Three breakout sessions, providing an educational platform for attendees to deliver employability skills, were delivered by Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, LPC Law and Osborne Clark LLP.

Programme Director of LLM (Master of Law) programmes, Associate Professor Katherine Reece Thomas, encouraged her LLM students to attend, whether they intend to practice in the UK or not. Professor Jason Chuah, Head of Academic Programmes, spoke with LLM students who said The Law Fair was helpful to their career prospects and general employability.

Excellent track record

Meanwhile, Barbadian lawyer and 2018 Chevening Scholar, Lorimer Denny, who has just begun his LLM in International Banking and Finance Law, is pleased with his choice of institution and programme of study:

"I chose City Law School because of its history and excellent track record of delivering quality legal education to its students since the 19th century. Its unique position in the heart of legal London and its varied course offerings made this the perfect choice for me to pursue my chosen specialism in International Banking and Finance Law."
