City hosts Aviva officials from China
Financial advisors visit City, University of London to find out more about UK higher education
In October, City, University of London hosted a visit from 23 of Aviva’s Senior Financial Advisors from mainland China. The group came here to learn more about the UK higher education system as well as City itself.
Our visitors manage Aviva’s provincial branches, with each senior advisor typically overseeing 10 to 100 financial advisors.
The met with a number of City staff, the President of City’s Chinese Society and took a campus tour which ended at City Sport.
One of the visitors, Zang YaNan, Aviva Branch Manager commented:
“This was an impressive tour which will be very valuable to me in my role. Previously I was only able to give Aviva customers limited information about City, University of London, but as a result of this visit and the briefings I received, I will be able to convey the unique value of studying at City”.
This further strengthens City’s relationship with Aviva, including on the Aviva Scholarship Program, which promotes British education in Asia. Launched in 2007, it assists outstanding students in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam to further their studies at leading UK universities through providing a 20% fee discount.
City currently has two Aviva Scholarship holders, both studying in Cass.
