Nursing and Radiography come top in London in new Complete University Guide rankings
Subjects across the School of Health Sciences improve position in annual rankings
The School of Health Sciences has been named as top in London for Nursing and Radiography (Medical Technology) in the new Complete University Guide 2019.
Nursing moved up two places, coming first in the capital and 17th in the UK, while Radiography retains its top spot while coming 16th nationally.
Speech and Language Therapy (Aural and Oral Sciences) also moved up five places to 9th overall, with Optometry (Ophthalmics) maintaining its current position, coming 6th nationally.
For student satisfaction, the School of Health Sciences was also ranked 2nd out of 30 institutions nationally for Radiography, while Nursing came 10th out of 71, Optometry 4th out of 13, and Speech and Language Science 6th out of 18.
Professor Debra Salmon, Dean of the School of Health Sciences, said:

These rankings are a testament to that hard work."
The Complete University Guide is released annually and measures the performance of 131 institutions across the country. The rankings take into consideration ten factors including research quality, graduate prospects and student satisfaction.
