Marketing Innovathon 2018

Cass Business School teamed up with Colgate-Palmolive, Tesco and Dunnhumby for the third successful edition of the Marketing Innovathon.

The Cass Marketing Innovathon gives students across all programs the opportunity to work on a real-life business challenge and develop a full marketing campaign for Colgate-Palmolive UK, leveraging the breadth of Tesco’s ecosystem.

To all the future students at Cass, if you want to get the chance to convert the nervous chills you have at the beginning of the presentation to goosebumps at the end of it, the Innovation is definitely the place to be.

With the help of mentors from Colgate-Palmolive, Tesco, Dunnhumby and Cass Marketing Faculty, students developed a campaign to “to win the hearts and minds of the nation on the subject of child oral health” and pitched their ideas to industry experts.

The winning team was invited to Tesco’s and Colgate’s headquarters to present their campaign idea to the top management teams.

"The Cass Marketing Innovathon is an amazing opportunity for our students to interact with leading international companies and their London marketers, and  tackle actual marketing problems with them," said Dr Marius Luedicke, MSc Course Director. "This unique innovation event allows students to apply and test their newly gained analytical and creative skills already during the study program, and gain invaluable experiences from pitching their ideas to experienced practitioners and fellow students."
