City, University of London and The Academy of Law sign Memorandum of Understanding
The two organisations will explore the possibility of joint educational activities in the region
City, University of London and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Dispute Resolution Authority Academy of Law have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The memorandum will enable the two organisations to explore the possibility of joint educational activities in the region.
City, University of London currently offers an internationally acclaimed Cass Executive MBA (EMBA), three MSc programmes in Aviation Management as well as tailor-made executive education, short courses and business services including consulting from its Dubai premises in the DIFC.
The Academy of Law was established in 2015 as an independent entity to provide quality education and support to the UAE legal community. Its core functions include training and regulating lawyers, publishing and disseminating information, hosting events for the legal community and providing free legal advice for people in need.
Ahead of the signing ceremony, Professor Carl Stychin, Dean of The City Law School said:
“I visited the Academy of Law last year and was impressed by their superb facilities and outstanding staff. We are excited by the possibility of working together in partnership and look forward to exploring areas of collaboration. At The City Law School we recognise the strength of our international brand. The signing of this MoU gives our two organisations the opportunity to further develop our educational provision to mutual advantage.”
