Dr Canan Kocabasoglu-Hillmer appointed Director of Global Women’s Leadership

The announcement of Dr Kocabasoglu-Hillmer’s appointment follows the recent partnership of Cass and The Coco-cola Foundation on the Global Women’s Leadership Programme

Canan Kocabasoglu-HillmerDr Canan Kocabasoglu-Hillmer has been appointed as Cass’ inaugural Director of Global Women’s Leadership.

The role will oversee collaborations within Cass and its alumni and corporate communities.

The Global Women’s Leadership Programme is an innovative initiative designed to attract and nurture rising women leaders.

Funded by The Coca-Cola Foundation, the £500,000 partnership will support four women MBA scholars with exceptional potential to lead global women’s leadership development efforts.

Scholarship recipients will be drawn from each of Cass’s four MBA programmes: full-time, executive, and modular programs in London and the executive MBA in Dubai.

Professor Marianne Lewis, Dean of Cass Business School said:

I am delighted that Dr Canan Kocabasoglu-Hillmer will serve as our inaugural Director of Global Women’s Leadership. She is a passionate and experienced advocate for women’s leadership.

Dr Canan Kocabasoglu-Hillmer, Director of Global Women’s Leadership said:

I am honoured to be taking on this role. We look forward to work with our alumni, business partners and students to contribute to this timely conversation about what we all need to do to increase the numbers of women leaders.

We are delighted with our partnership with the Coca-Cola foundation, which will help us nurture four female leaders of the future and is one of the foundations around which we will create a community motivated to develop, support and encourage tomorrow’s women leaders.
