New City space provides enhanced student learning experience

Drysdale Ground Floor opened by Professor Sir Paul Curran

The refurbished Drysdale Building Ground Floor at City, University of London was opened on Thursday by its President, Professor Sir Paul Curran.  The new space provides upgraded PC labs, improved building access and flexible social and study spaces.

The Ground Floor also forms the main entrance to the Cass Business School Undergraduate Centre on Level Three.

Speaking at the opening, Kevin Gibbons, Director of Property and Facilities at City, thanked the project team and staff involved in the project and said:

“We have successfully followed in the footsteps of the recent City Main Entrance and Tait Level One projects, to stretch the boundaries of what could have been ‘just another refurbishment’, to create a really special place for staff and students.”

Professor Marianne Lewis, Dean, Cass Business School said she was delighted to view the new undergraduate space.

“This innovative new space will give our Cass undergraduate students a great head start in their studies, providing an improved learning experience right in the heart of City, University of London.”
