New employability ranking places City among UK’s best
City ranked joint 12th in survey of top recruiters
City has been named the joint 12th best university in the UK for graduate employability. The Global University Employability Ranking 2016, published exclusively in the Times Higher Education this week, reveals which universities recruiters at top companies think are the best at preparing students for the workplace.
The UK employability ranking includes 63 universities and City’s performance places it alongside the Universities of Bristol, St Andrews, Leeds and Cardiff. Among London institutions it is ranked 6th.
The survey has been running for six years as a collaboration between human resources consultancy Emerging and employment research group Trendence.
