by John Stevenson

As part of the recently released Foresight Report on The Future of Computer Trading in Financial Markets, Professor Robin Bloomfield of the Centre for Software Reliability and Dr Anne Wetherilt from the Bank of England have co-authored "Computer Trading and systemic risk: a nuclear perspective".

nullTheir contribution provides an interdisciplinary perspective on the issues of systemic risk and trust.

While they do not prescribe policy recommendations, the authors, however, define 14 questions which they believe should be addressed with regard to systemic risk, protection systems and computer assurance.
