Four City, University of London alumni from the Class of 1973, who all studied for their BSc in Civil Engineering, last month celebrated 50 years since their graduation with a reunion and photographs with City President, Professor Sir Anthony Finkelstein.

The quartet (three of whom were accompanied by their wives) are Keith Tozzi, Barry Jones, James Pitkin and Martin Williams.

Since graduating in 1973, they have each gone on to have quite varied careers.

Keith Tozzi is the recently retired chairman of international insurer, Kane Ltd; Barry Jones transitioned from civil engineering to software engineering as a Director of Sun Microsystems in California; James Pitkin has been a Principal Consultant at international engineering firm, Hyder Consulting (Middle East); and Martin Williams has been a senior engineering consultant at several rail and transport companies across the UK.

The four alumni were pleased to have been reunited with each other, to have met with the City President, and to have visited some of the Engineering Labs, including the Handley Page Aeronautical Engineering Lab in the School of Science and Technology.
