Cass Business School, part of City, University of London welcomed its first intake for its new Global MBA programme in London this week. Fifteen nationalities are represented in this year’s cohort.

With an average of 11 years’ experience in the workplace and an average age of 36 years, Cass has attracted fresh talent from a range of sectors including finance, manufacturing, IT, not-for-profit, education and healthcare, all seeking to maximise their leadership potential and accelerate their careers.

The Global MBA programme is designed for experienced managers and highly-driven, motivated professionals and entrepreneurs. The course allows them to gain a world-class MBA while studying flexibly online – without interruption to work or personal commitments.

The cohort received a formal welcome from Professor Steve Thomas, Associate Dean, MBA Programmes and Dr Aneesh Banerjee, Course Director, Global MBA. They also had the opportunity to meet teaching and professional staff from across the School. The agenda of the four-day induction featured introductory talks, team building and professional development workshops, followed by an informal networking drinks reception.

Professor Steve Thomas commented:

“I am pleased to welcome our very first cohort of the Cass Global MBA to our Cass community – it’s a fantastic group, who are wonderfully diverse both in terms of nationalities and professional backgrounds. I wish them all the very best as they embark on their exciting journey.”

Dr Aneesh Banerjee said:

“I am delighted to welcome our new class of students to our exciting and transformative Global MBA programme in London. I’m particularly pleased that we have a nearly 50/50 gender balance for this cohort. Each of these students will not only derive enormous value from, but also add great value to, this highly stimulating programme of studies.”
