Current students and recent graduates were awarded prizes for outstanding achievement at The City Law School's (CLS)
Prize-Giving reception on 26th November 26th in B200.
CLS Dean, Professor Andrew Stockley, Head of Professional Programmes, Professor Peter Hungerford-Welch, and Head of Academic Programmes, Professor Jason Chuah were on hand to present prizes and congratulate the awardees on their accomplishments.
60 prizes were awarded to winners both studying on, or who have graduated from, the LLB and Graduate Entry LLB (GELLB) courses. There were also 70 prize-winners on the School’s professional and postgraduate programmes, including those who studied on the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC); the Legal Practice Course (LPC); and on LLM programmes.
Commenting on the high level of achievement, Professor Stockley said:
"There are some 2,500 students at the City Law School. We are distinctive because we attract significant numbers of students across all areas of legal education. We have strong programmes at every stage of legal education- from the Bachelor of Laws, the Graduate Diploma in Law, the Master of Laws, the PhD, to our barrister and solicitor vocational courses. My congratulations and very best wishes to all students who have been awarded a prize this year. They have all done extremely well to be one of the very best students."
