Please note, this event will be held in person at Bayes Business School.
The Bayes Marketing Group is excited to invite you to #EPIC, a one-day research symposium that will delve into three of the most important themes requiring society’s - and our - attention: (i) Sustainability, (ii) Precarity, and (iii) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
The aim of #EPIC is to facilitate in-depth explorations of each theme from various perspectives, hopefully leading to the cross-fertilisation of ideas across methodological boundaries and between academia and practice.
Please refer to the symposium programme for more details.
Presenters and discussants include:
- Professor Amitav Chakravarti (LSE)
- Professor Delphine Dion (ESSEC Business School)
- Professor Eileen Fischer (Schulich School of Management, York University)
- Professor Zeynep Gurhan-Canli (Koc University)
- Dr Magda Hassan (Manchester Alliance Business School)
- Professor Anja Lambrecht (London Business School)
- Dr Shilpa Madan (Singapore Management University)
- Dr Lez Trujillo-Torres (University of Illinois Chicago)
- Professor Peeter Verlegh (VU Amsterdam)

- Mr Michael Brown (Head of Insight & Research UK & EMEA, UM)
- Mr Jez Groom (Founder & CEO, Cowry Consulting)
- Dr Sarah Fullick (Head of Impact and Evidence, The Trussell Trust)
Additionally, a panel discussion featuring practitioners working to address sustainability, precarity, and diversity, equity, and inclusion will explore what kind of research can support their endeavours and how closer collaborations could be forged.
Registration is now open for scholars, practitioners, and PhD students interested in these important research areas. The number of spaces is limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
It is easy to combine this event with your trip to ACR Paris. We are only two tube stops away from the Eurostar Terminal at St Pancras Station. The train ride to Paris is only 2.5 hours.
We hope that you will join us on Wednesday 25 September and look forward to welcoming you!
