This is a great opportunity for the alumni community in this region to come together, listen to thought-provoking talks, learn the latest news from the University and schools, and network with alumni, faculty and staff.

About the hosts and speakers
Dr Sionade Robinson
Sionade is an impactful and collaborative leader in Higher Education, currently serving as Vice President Engagement, Enterprise, and Employability, at City, St George's University of London.
A member of the University's Leadership Team, she is responsible for a portfolio of strategic objectives including a sector-leading university-wide Career Activation Programme which has embedded career focused education and professional experience into every undergraduate degree, supporting 12,500 students and contributing significantly to City’s TEF GOLD for student outcomes.
Before joining the President’s team, Sionade was a member of the Bayes Business School’s Executive Committee, as Associate Dean People & Culture, and before that, Associate Dean MBA, leading the globally ranked programme for the maximum term 2012-2018.
Sionade is a skilled and innovative educator building differentiated learning experiences to enhance employability, student experience, and leading to engaged alumni and employers.
Before joining Bayes Business School, she was a successful, commercially focused management consultant with proven expertise in improving customer experience in professional services, business to consumer and business to business contexts, with a track record of delivering measurable improvement in organisational performance.
Professor André Spicer
Professor André Spicer is Dean of Bayes Business School. He is also a Professor of Organisational Behaviour and the Head of the Faculty of Management. He is an expert in the areas of Organisational Behaviour, Leadership and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Professor Spicer is originally from Aotearoa/New Zealand. He began his studies at the University of Otago and holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne in Australia. Prior to joining City, he was a Professor of Organization Studies at the University of Warwick.
He has been a visiting professor at London Business School, the Kellogg School at Northwestern, McGill University, Lund University, University of St Gallen and the University of Sydney.
Professor Spicer is known for his research on wellbeing, organizational politics, organisational culture, employee identity, new organizational forms, workspace and leadership. His work looks at a wide range of settings including knowledge intensive firms, financial institutions, government departments, seaports, universities, libraries, media organizations, and social movements.
Professor Richard Ashcroft
Professor Richard Ashcroft is the Executive Dean for The City Law School. He joined The City Law School in September 2019 as Deputy Dean and Professor of Bioethics. He is the University’s lead for sustainability as well as being the University’s neurodiversity champion.
Previously he was Professor of Bioethics at Queen Mary, University of London, where he had been Deputy and Acting Head of the Department of Law.
He is an expert on biomedical research ethics and public health ethics, with more than 200 publications in these fields. He has had numerous public roles, including most recently a year as an Alan Turing Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute (2018-19), working on ethics and artificial intelligence in healthcare.
Dr Samintharaj Kumar
Dr Samintharaj Kumar is Chief Executive Officer of Nuffield Holdings, with dual qualifications in medicine and dentistry, and an accomplished alumnus of Bayes Business School.
He earned his BDS from Singapore in 2001 and MBBS from London in 2006, receiving numerous awards for academic excellence. His postgraduate training across England and Singapore spans diverse specialties including maxillofacial surgery and plastic surgery.
As the leader of Nuffield Medical, Dental, Wellness, and Specialists, a network of clinics in Singapore and London, Dr Kumar focuses on delivering comprehensive healthcare. He has expertise in dental implantology, performing the largest number of zygomatic (cheek) implants and full jaw implant procedures/ same day teeth in Singapore. His practice also includes advanced aesthetic medicine and complex oral rehabilitation.
In addition to clinical work, Dr Kumar contributes to teaching at international programs and serves on various healthcare committees in Singapore, integrating surgical expertise with healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship.
Samantha Shuttleworth
Samantha (Sam) is the Head of Strategy at Construct Digital, where she spearheads strategic initiatives to drive digital innovation for B2B and higher education clients across ASEAN.
With over 20 years of international experience, Sam has a proven track record in product management, go-to-market strategy, and digital transformation. She has worked with startups and Global 500 companies to launch products and services that generate new, profitable revenue streams.
Previously, Sam founded an independent consultancy in Singapore and held leadership roles at R/GA, FutureBrand, and Devries Global, focusing on strategy, digital transformation and analytics for major clients like Procter & Gamble, Metlife, UOB and Johnson & Johnson.
She has a BA in Environmental Science from Monash University, Australia, and an Executive MBA from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass Business School), 2011-2013 cohort.
Natalie Huang
Natalie Huang is the Head of Treasury for MariBank, one of the new digital banks in Singapore.
She has 18 years of experience in bank treasury and asset liability management (ALM). Prior to joining MariBank, she worked at DBS, UOB, Maybank and Nomura, managing group treasury & regional liquidity.
She studied an MSc in Quantitative Finance jointly at Bayes and Singapore Management University graduating in 2013.
